When I first started flying, like really long hauls, I used to try to be just cute for the trip and didn’t take into account how many hours I would be on the plane, in the airports, simply getting to my destination. I also didn’t take into account my final destination or the weather where I was going. Let’s face it; I was a rookie who didn’t want to admit it.
I had not yet understood that there were ‘Long Haul Tips and Tricks’ that would just work for every trip and that I needed to embed these into my travel routine.
I would also try and bring everything I thought I would need to keep me “entertained” on the flight and I would get so frustrated by having to shuffle everything around. The truth is, you don’t need half of what you think you do. Keep it to the basics; phone, iPad chargers, book, and headphones. There will also be in-flight entertainment to help keep you occupied. Oh, and let’s not forget the meals and drinks!

Here we are, many years later and many flights around the globe. I have gotten my travel routine down! Does it include leggings and comfortable shoes? Absolutely! Does it include looking chic and cute while walking, sitting , walking some more, and sitting some more? Of course! Does it include just what I need and nothing more? I wouldn’t have it any other way!
My personal style is chic, cute, boho, with gym gear; easy with a side of functional and a whole bunch of confidence!
